Monument to war veterans The memorial tells the story of the flag, which together with the soldiers experiences all the events on the missions and thus describes the very story of the soldiers - future veterans. The individual parts of the park are connected by a flying bronze sculpture of the flag, which shows veteranism as a dramatic journey from the beginning to the upward take-off. The statue is the result of capturing the flying Czech national flag in individual sequences .: 1 / Beginning 2 / Flight 3 / Takeoff MS Park letců, Ostrava, 2020 / Competition proposal - 2nd prize Collaboration: Martin Blažek + Jan Adamus ( gimonfu. ) ← BACK TO SPACES

Atelier The joint studio was created in the space of the former surgeries in the cultural monument building on the square in Frýdek-Místek. With our own efforts, we created a multifunctional space with a hairdressing salon, an architectural-sculpture studio and a residential floor. The main elements are wooden structures made of low-cost materials, such as roof battens, spruce boards, polycarbonate and steel profiles. Since we realized the interior for ourselves, many elements and details were created in the course of construction. The central motif of the salon is a triangle. The latter creates a stage, a suspended LED lamp and a mobile three-walled mirror and reception object. On the main wall, we uncovered the original paintings and created a large-format painting. Shelves made of solid spruce wood are anchored on the wall, and there is a stainless steel work surface with storage spaces on the sides. The studio is dominated by a slatted structure that divides the space into a work and a rest area. The space is connected to a multifunctional room and a workshop with a wooden shelving system. Water element on Dominican Square A new water element for Brno as a reaction to a specific area and disagreements about the appearance of the new landmark of Dominican Square. A fountain that cannot be seen, but effectively fulfills its purpose. A fountain that fits into the folklore of Brno's sculptures and events. The fountain area is delimited by four plane trees in the middle of Dominican Square. The paved square is arid and overheated on sunny days. Plane trees that could improve the situation in the future are still suffering. We design a complete refreshment of the space, cooling of paving, irrigation of trees and work with microclimate. An inconspicuous but effective fountain. The golden water carpet of individual fluttering strands flows through the joints of the paving stones, just below the surface. The shimmer of the reflections is supported by the golden color of the epoxy layer in the joints. As you move through the square, one observes golden reflections. The fountain does not become a new landmark or obstacle, it is sunk under the walking area. The water flowing down the square cools the cobblestones and evaporates. The water on the golden tray literally flows under one's feet. Brno, 2021 / Competition proposal - 3rd prize Collaboration: Martin Blažek ( gimonfu. ) ← BACK TO SPACES

THROUGH Jan Adamus, Ondřej Bělica / Installation / Gallery Věž / Frýdek-Místek / 1 September – 30 November 2022 The multimedia exhibition interprets the vertical axis of the Tower up to its maximum. There is a penetration through the entire planet. The direction of the borehole is defined by extending the vertical of the church as a geometric normal to the earth's surface. The installation works with the creative elements of circle, spiral and light. The outer spiral of light marks the mining point, the direction of the well and, like a lighthouse, alerts visitors from kilometers away. The internal audio-visual installation creates the illusion of penetration through the earth's surface, its core, and reveals surprising findings in hitherto unexplored depths. The mission of this artistic intervention is to transform the perception of St. John's Tower in all its scales: object - architecture - city - planet. The THROUGH project is the first in the history of site-specific installations in the Tower Gallery to deal with the tower as a complete object, without neglecting any part of the whole. The elemental shape of the circle, enhanced by light, refers to many symbolic connotations and is the overall element of the entire project inside and out: from the outer light spiral (from a distance of the circle) to the inner circle of light placed under the bells, lightly resting on massive beams and thus confirming its immaterial origin , up to an equally large, sand-defined (filled) circle of the projection surface. Bunker Cut The central chapter of the Bunker Kunst project is a physical act of architectural section through a bunker revealing the concept, technology, scale and corporeality of the Czechoslovak light fortification vz.37, type A-160, ŘOP 1263 in Vratěnín. This indelible gesture leads to the deactivation of the war mission of the bunker and elevates this utilitarian monolithic unit to a sculptural-environmental object. The oblique cut opens up the impregnable structure and the physical connection between the interior and the exterior. An important moment is the letting of daylight into the concrete shelter and the visual connection with the church tower. In opposition to the technical-historical and museum approaches to Czechoslovak fortifications, this project is moving in an experimental direction that raises the issue of post-war heritage in relation to current and future generations. Diamond rope cut. Vratěnín, CZ, 2017
